I was quite skeptical at first thinking that this was just another one of those sugar substitutes that would have a nasty aftertaste. Well I am happy to say that I did like the taste of it. Xagave looks like honey. And I thought it tastes like honey. The only difference it had a mild and neutral taste from the white agave plant which brings out flavor for baked goods. It is a unique light flavor and makes my tea taste awesome. I am looking forward to using it in baking and cooking. Especially for my hot chicken wings sauce that I cook every Friday night.
I was recently given the opportunity to review a new product called Xagave. Xagave is an all-natural sweetener that can be used to replace sugar. It comes from the agave plant. The Xagave that I received came in a bottle and small packets. I thought packets were very convenient for me to take to my local coffee shop to add them to my coffee instead of brown sugar.
Another thing I liked about Xagave it is certified organic. It has fiber and calcium. It’s Gluten free and low glycemic. 1 Table spoon contains 2 g of fiber, 17% of Calcium, 12 g of Sugar.
Want to try one for yourself? The 23.5 oz bottle of Xagave Nectar is available from Xagave.com for $8.99. They also offering a free 11.75 oz bottle for FREE with purchase.
Disclaimer: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free from Xagave.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
