Reusable shopping bag review, reuseit

I have always tried to be environmentally friendly in my every day living. From recycling glass and plastic, to using biodegradable cleaning products, using energy saving light bulbs, and bringing a reusable shopping bag with me to the supermarket. For the last one I always seem to be at the store and without my bag. I end up feeling so guilty using paper or plastic from the market. It seems like such a waste.

I recently had the chance to review a product that may answer my reusable bad issues. A company called Reuseit.com sent me the SLING rePETe Chicobag in purple color.

A 100% recycled PET bag that comes in a tiny pouch with a metal clip. What a great idea. The metal clip could hook onto my purse or gym bag or onto my car. I have decided to keep it clipped to the inside of my handbag. Since my handbag is always with me when I go food shopping.

The best thing the tiny pouch that the bag comes in is part of the bag. So you never have to worry about losing the pouch.

I put the sling bag to the test by visiting the supermarket and library several times over the last few weeks. I have to say I am quite surprised by its convenience and strength. The bag easily carried my food items and library books. The only real limitation was my strength and the size of the bag. I was told that they offer larger sizes. However for me this one works out great. Now I don’t have to answer that annoying question, “Paper or Plastic?”
