I was recently searching online for a unique gift to give to my Mom for Mother’s day this year.  I came to the conclusion that I was sick and tired of giving her gift cards and although she wouldn’t admit it I think she was tired of receiving them.  One of my friends suggested one of those heart shaped lockets with pictures of my kids inside.  I thought that was fantastic idea but worried about putting pictures in the small locket and the pictures possibly falling out or fading over time.  Well at least that’s what happened with one that I had.  I decided to go ahead and search online to see what I could find.

  What a vast selection to choose from.  I found the photo lockets that I was looking for right away.  However they were not the usual lockets that I was familiar with.  Pictures on gold.com actually laser engraves the photo of your loved ones right onto the jewelry.  You email them a picture and they take care of the rest.  

 I was so impressed with this process I ordered one with pictures of both of my children for my Mom. 

             Oh, I almost forgot to mention.  They also laser engraved a sweet message for my Mom directly onto the back of the heart shaped locket. When I received the locket later that week I was truly impressed.  Mom is going to love this gift.
