PMD Personal MicroDerm System Review

I was so excited to receive The PMD Personal MicroDerm product for review, before accepting the offer I did a bit of research and read the reviews already out there on the PMD. 

The PMD comes with the microderm, five exfoliating discs, one reusable filter and the electric cord. The exfoliating discs come in blue and green, where blue is for more sensitive skin types (and/or smaller areas like face) and green is good for tougher skin types and more aggressive use (and/or larger skin areas like arms, hands, legs, neck..etc).

I have used the Personal Microderm System for 3 weeks now, once per week. Once you buy this product you MUST watch the product demo DVD, this is very important! Without watching the demo you could hurt or damage your skin.

The first time I used the product I watched the Video (comes in a package) 3 times. I was very careful, yet ended up with red scabbing streak on my cheek, but after 4 days it was gone and I bravely gave myself a second treatment: I used the product on a leg, arm, the face and the neck. Areas I went over only once were absolutely fine. Areas I went over multiple times were scabbed again. I think the trick is to be certain you only go over each section of skin only ONE TIME and be sure not to hold in one spot for any length of time. After my third week I feel that my skin is much smoother and softer, I did notice the softness immediately.

There are two creams that are suggested for use with the PMD and I think it’s a good idea to use them as well. I really like the PMD and do recommend it, just use a gentle hand.

For the few minutes it takes to use the PMD, and the results it has given me I think it is very well worth every penny. At $179.00 it really is a bargain if you compare the price to getting the same results at a Dr. office (You pay $180 or more just for ONE 10 minute treatment).


Pros:
Very easy to use. 
Excellent suction. 
The tips are simple to change. 
Works great on the hands and arms also 

Cons:
The tips seem to wear out quickly. I ordered extra tips for the PMD in blue; green on another website. I felt the price was very reasonable. 
Skin feels little bit dry and tight for the first day. Good moisturizer can fix that.
